MER Clinic: Creating Photo Backdrops of Historical Scenes

This clinic provides a brief overview of image manipulation for custom photo backdrops in general. It then shows first how to create long-gone period scenes by “back-dating” (i.e. extensively editing) modern photography. It next illustrations the manipulation of perspective in, and the colorization of, historical black and white photography designed to produce custom representations of period scenes.
